One can hardly argue that everything is changing radically. Even though the Kinderhotel Post recently became the Post Family Resort, we can assure you that our core philosophy hasn’t changed and won’t change. We are a family business and proud of the fact that our son Florian is now running the Post-Family Resort with passion and tradition. Jürgen took over the management of our restaurant in October 2017. After completing his apprenticeship as a restaurant specialist in a 5-star hotel, he passed many senior positions in fine Austrian gastronomy. After 14 years of independence, Jürgen now pampers the POST guests and introduces them to the world of wine.
RECEPTION MANAGER
Gudrun is in our reception team since 2016. Since 2021 she is the
manager of the team. Her calm and friendly manner ist greatly appreaciated
as well by our guests as by her colleagues.

F&B MANAGER
Florian has taken over the management of the kitchen in summer 2014. Florian is a passionate chef and knows how to inspire his staff to peak performance. As the future boss of the house, he also takes on the tasks of F & B management.

Since December 2017, Kati is whizzing lik a whirlwind through the floors, restaurants and hallways of the POST. Organizing and controlling, but also taking the broom in her own hands and always a smile on her face - this is Kati.
MANAGEMENT SPA
Sabine is an experienced beautician and wellness masseuese.
She has been with us in the POST team since 2015. 2018 she has
been in charge of the SPA area.
ACTIV COACH
Lilo works in our Hotel since 2019. Most she likes skiing and horseriding. Lilo is our active coach and also the trainer for tennis and climbing.
MANAGEMENT POST RANCH
Sanny has been a member of our POST Team since 2012. She is a wonderful riding instructor for children and also for adults. Always cheerful, helpful and full of energy, this is how we and many of our guests know and love this powful woman.
ps. In winter 2021 we had a bottleneck with our receptions team. Because there were enough riding instructors ind the stable, Sanny switched to the reception. Of course she allways keeps an eye on her animals, and also on the program of the POST Ranch.

Sebastian Mayergschwendtner of Miesenbach and Apollonia Siberer of Wörgl took over the Taverne Unterrein. The Taverne Unterrain (later the Gasthof zur Post) remained in the ownership of the Mayergschwendtner Family from 1663 to 1961.

The Taverne Unterrein became a postal station and thus the Gasthof zur Post

Florian Mayergschwendtner sold the Gasthof zur Post to Matthäus and Franziska Öschlberger of Siezenheim (Salzburg)

Various leaseholders ran the Gasthof zur Post
1985
Matthäus Unseld (grandson of Matthäus and Franziska Öschlberger) took over the Gasthof zur Post and made it into a 3 star hotel with 25 rooms. Number of staff: 9
1989
Matthäus Unseld married Gertraud Seeburger of Moosbach (Upper Austria). Children: Florian Matthäus (1992), Lukas Sebastian (1993), and Magdalena Franziska (1997)
1993
The Hotel-Recreational Park with a lake for swimming, a beach volleyball place, a soccer field, and a children’s playground came into being.
1997
The KinderHotel POST became a member of the "Kinderhotels Europa GmbH" corporation. Number of staff: 18
1998
The KinderHotel POST was awarded 4 stars and became a 4-Smileys-Kinderhotel (4 Smileys Children’s Hotel).
1999
The winter adventure land with snow-covered training slope, rope lift and magic carpet is built. The staff house (formerly Pension Bavaria) is bought and renovated. Number of staff: 25 employees
2002
The former event hall was converted to a restaurant.
2003
The new "Sonnenbogen" (Solar Arc) hotel tract with 25 family suites, an indoor pool, a beauty farm, playrooms for children and infants, a soft play area, and a new reception area was built.
2004
The rooms in the main hotel (Stammhaus) were converted to family suites. The hotel lobby, the wine shop, and the Smileyplexx came into being. A golf driving range was built behind the POST-See lake. The KinderHotel POST received its 5th Smiley, making it one of the top 8 children’s hotels in Europe. Number of staff: 45
2007
Construction of the riding stable Heating system converted to alternative energy. The Unken woodchip district heating plant went into operation.
2014
The Winter Adventure Land with an artificial snow-covered practice slope, rope lift, and magic carpet was built. The staff house (formerly Pension Bavaria) was bought and renovated. Number of staff: 25
2015
The offering was expanded to include the new outdoor thermal pool with an indoor entrance, white water channel, and massage couches. Number of staff: 52
2021 Construction of the new Rooftop SPA. Also 10 new family rooms and an indoor-water slide area were built. Number of staff: 62
